This series was a highly personal adventure into letting go of any attempts to control the final results when working with porcelain. Not only did I mix in shards from my previous cracked pieces, but I left the clay alone to dry as it would.
As expected, they warped and cracked but as they did, they expressed their own versions of Beauty.
The crags split with unexpected colors and the pieces vibrate with life.
They remind me that letting go is good.
